
Registrations for EmergencyManagement+ Cohort 3 will open soon!
The EmergencyManagement+ education program combines self-paced online modules and live virtual sessions to equip participants with the tools to build sustainable and impactful emergency management programs for their facilities. This program is ideal for health center staff across California responsible for emergency preparedness and management as part of their role. Preference will be given to those new to their organizations and/or emergency management, but all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Course Objectives
- Build and leverage a professional peer network to support ongoing collaboration, resource sharing, and continuous improvement in emergency management planning efforts.
- Learn how to fulfill health center emergency preparedness requirements in order to qualify for reimbursement, grants, or other public funding streams.
- Apply core principles of preparedness, response, and recovery and adapt a standardized knowledge base to develop or enhance facility-specific training programs.
- Evaluate emerging trends and risks in emergency management and strengthen internal capacity to support the successful implementation of emergency management initiatives within health centers.
