Medical Assistants (MAs) play a critical role in expanding capacity within care teams and providing care to patients. To help MAs succeed in the ever-changing health care landscape, we have partnered with Macman Management Healthare Services to deliver a robust training program.
Medical Assistant+ is a six-month virtual training and retention program designed to help build the necessary skills a successful MA team requires – guiding them toward career advancement and certification.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Fee per participant: $3,000 due upon registration.

- 8/8/2024: What is a Community Health Center/Professionalism Part 1
- 9/12/2024: Insurance and Financial Responsibilities/PMHC & the Care Team
- 10/10/2024: Safety & Quality/Pharmacology/Professionalism Part 2
- 11/14/2024: Pathophysiology/Motivational Interviewing
- 12/12/2024: Social Determinants of Health/Core Competencies
- 1/9/2025: Review and Certification Test Prep
*All sessions are a full day and take place from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
