In response to proposed Public Charge changes and anti-immigrant policy, many immigrant families disenrolled and stopped seeking public services such as Medi-Cal and CalFresh. To combat this epidemic, the Protecting Immigrant Access to Public Benefits Workgroup developed a Public Charge 101 training that covers current law, proposed changes and best practices for educating the community. In partnership with regional partners, the Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice, we will also share and develop local strategies for responding to the rules announcement.
Please join us in learning how you can join the fight against the Chilling Effect and misinformation that is preventing immigrant families from accessing the benefits and services they deserve.

Thanks to support from the Protecting Immigrant Families Campaign, there is no cost to attend this training.
